DATAFEM FEMCard Basic
You have data from material testing and would like to evaluate this data on your own for FEA? This is rather easy. With our newly developed software tool FEMCard which is a trademark of our new software label DATAFEM, you can read and evaluate test data automatically for the material model of your choice. A graphical interface shows the optimization process and with it the quality of the identified material data set.
Make yourself a mental note: In a few months a free trial version will be available for download, so that you can convince yourself of the simple and intuitive navigation and speed of the software. Below you can download information about the expected software prices.

Below two screenshots of the current prototype are shown. On the first we see the input menu, where you can import up to 10 stress-strain diagrams of different types of tests, such as tensile, biaxial and shear tests. It is possible to assign different weights to the individual experiments during the determination of material data. Similarly one can make weighting of the test sections, so that e.g. the rearmost area of hardening of a metal is weighted higher than the beginning.
On the second screenshot an intermediate step of the optimization process is shown. Material parameters of an elastoplastic model are determined taking into account a tensile test with measured longitudinal and transverse strains, one with biaxial stress and strain in two spatial directions and a shear test. The green curves approach, depending on the material properties, continuously to the red curves until an optimal mapping of all test is obtained with only one set of material parameters. The preliminary status of the optimization and respective material records are shown at the bottom left in the result window.
