Crash simulation of composite materials
In November 2011 the ZIM Cooperation Project EFFECTS (Efficient finite element calibration technology and software) has been launched together with the Institute for Composite Materials in Kaiserslautern. By combining the most modern testing technologies, manufacturing processes and optimization algorithms during a period of two years, our already existing expertise in the field of high-speed testing and material data identification for crash simulation is expanded, refined and made more robust.
Our products in the field of material data determination are being expanded for the material class of fiber reinforced composites. So our customers can use both our upcoming software tool FEMCard Basic as well as our multi-dimensional testing and evaluation method FEMCard Pro to get optimized material data for the crash simulation of FRP.
We look forward to companies that would like to accompany this project and give additional support. In doing this you'll get the opportunity to participate directly with the latest developments and implement relevant results in your company. If interested, please contact Dr. Marc Bosseler.
